James’ other work follows his minimalistic style and is constantly adding to his portfolio.

DESCRIPTION:The Slip Hall will be turned into the Celbridge Camera Club Portrait Studio.\nAs the club has recently purchased new lighting equipment\, what better way to show\nmembers how to set up lights / modifiers\, backdrops etc. than to have a hands-on session\nwith all the equipment.\nThis will be a fun night where all members are encouraged to help in setting up the studio\,\ntake portraits\, and of course dress up in all your finery and Strike A Pose.\nWe will be setting up the studio from 7.00pm – 7.30pm so anyone interested in learning how\nto set the equipment up please arrive at 7.00pm.\nFor members who would like to Strike A Pose – please bring along hats / scarves\, colourful\nclothing\, and any accessories that might make a fun photograph.\nThe studio will be ready for members to take portraits from 7.30pm onwards\, so come along\nearly.\nAnd of course\, don’t forget to bring your camera.\nAlso anyone wishing to sell or donate unwanted camera equipment\, please bring it along on the night.

DESCRIPTION:Volker is a German photographer who after an exciting career as manager for space programmes\, turned to an old passion of his youth\, photography.\n\nMinimalistic architecture or objects and sensual portraits are his favourite subjects. While his minimalistic photography is influenced by the aesthetics of the Bauhaus\, with the search for colour and form contrasts\, his portraits try to show the person and her emotions in a natural way. “Less is more” could also be the motto of his sensual portraits by giving imagination enough room.
