SUMMARY:Next Monday\, the 25th of November\, we will have a presentation by our own Christine Taylor. She is a former Chairperson and Competition Secretary of the club. Wildlife and sports photography are her passions.
DESCRIPTION:Christine is especially known for her wonderful equine sports photography. Regarding wildlife photography\, on one of her recent trips to the Saltee Islands\, she drew attention to the damage caused by pollution in our coastal waters with her powerful photo of a gannet with orange plastic netting wound around its neck. This photo appeared on the front page of the Irish Times.

SUMMARY:Next Monday\, the 11th of November\, we are delighted to have one of our own photographers\, Turlough O’Reilly\, present a cross section of his wonderful images.
DESCRIPTION:Turlough likes all types of photography. His post-processing skills are exceptional and Turlough has been more than generous with his time in helping less experienced members within the club. He is a former Chairman and\, although he may not blow his own trumpet\, his name can be found on several of our trophies.

A long-time member of Kilkenny Photographic Society\, John was president of the IPF for several years.
