SUMMARY:Printing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 3rd February Brian Hopper will give a workshop on “The Perfect Print”. \nThis full day course will cover the following topics: \n\nColour management.\nCalibration of equipment.\nWorkflow – Photoshop / Lightroom\nMonochrome Prints.\nPost processing:\n\n\n\nLayers\nDodge & Burn\nContrast\nSharpening\nRe-sizing an image\n\n\n\n\n\nThe emphasis is on the practical step-by-step to producing the perfect print and the use of various papers.\nBrian will have an Epson printer and will step through the print process using gloss and matt papers.\nHe will also introduce different methods of finishing / presenting an image.\nAll the steps throughout the workshop are straightforward and are aimed at eliminating common misconceptions and making the participants think about the print process.\nCost of this workshop is €50 and is limited to 20 people.\nPlease register and pay Jim on Monday evening meetings to ensure a place.
