Paul Stanley

January 27 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Paul Stanley will explain how the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) Distinctions recognise photographers for exceptional skill and creativity through judged panel submissions. The distinctions are:

Licentiateship (LIPF): Entry-level, requiring a panel of 10 images demonstrating competence and creativity.
Associateship (AIPF): Intermediate, requiring 15 images with a cohesive theme and advanced execution.
Fellowship (FIPF): Highest level, requiring 20 images showcasing outstanding originality and technical excellence.
Judges evaluate panels for composition, technical quality, and artistic expression, providing a framework for photographic growth.

Paul’s presentation is also relevant for members who are not planning to participate in the distinctions sittings, as it provides valuable advice on assembling a cohesive and visually appealing panel of photographs.
