Celbridge Camera Club donation to St. Raphael’s Parents and Friends Association

On April 16th 2024, Celbridge Camera Club marked the handover of €1,568 to St Raphael’s Parents and Friends Association (RPFA) with a visit to the Association’s shop at Main Street, Celbridge.
The money came from part of the proceeds of the sales of the camera club’s 2024 calendar, which was sold in local businesses. The photographs in the calendar were taken by club members, of which there are around a hundred in total. Club chairperson, Cillín Ó’Foghlú and treasurer, Aida Best, met RPFA secretary, Celine Hanratty, and RPFA volunteers, shop manager, Mairead Flanagan, and Michael Corcoran. Cillín Ó’Foghlú said the club was delighted to be able to help such a local good cause, which supports people with intellectual disabilities. Celine Hanratty said they were delighted to receive the funds, especially now that the annual St Raphael’s Fete was no longer taking place.
